Four arrested in Vilimale’ street brawl

Four Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested in a street brawl that broke out last weekend between a group of expatriates in suburban Vilimale’.

In a statement on Sunday, the police said the incident took place at around 03:58 pm on Friday.

The police arrested four suspects in the case. They were identified as:

• Sahitha Khan, 21
• Moomin Mia, 35
• Sorif Mia, 35
• Mohamed Hassan Mia, 32

All four are Bangladeshi nationals.

According to the police, the court has ordered for all four to be remanded in police custody for 10 days as they investigate the case.

However, the police have not commented on what sparked the fight or any other details regarding the case.
