Vilingili police dispose of alcohol seized from travelers

Police have disposed of 149 bottles of alcohol and 44 cans of beer in custody of the GA. Vilingili Police Station.

The alcohol was disposed of at the Vilingili Police Station on Tuesday.

Police state the alcohol was seized by the MNDF from tourists who went to Kooddoo Airport between June 6 and July 9, and handed over to police.

Police said the alcohol was disposed of under the supervision of a special committee, in accordance with standard procedure.
