Application opens for purchase of Vinares Flats

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened applications for the purchase of Vinares Flats developed in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

In a statement released on Sunday, HDC said that the online portal to submit applications for the purchase of Vinares Flats can be logged into using eFaas. They noted that the deadline for application is 12:00pm on September 15.

Whilst applications have opened – HDC have also publicized point the regulation on how points would be allocated for applicants.

Requirements to qualify for Vinares Flats include being a native resident of Male’ City. However, an exception is made of individuals not registered to Male’ City, that have lived in the capital for 15 years. HDC noted that 100 units are allocated for individuals in this category.

The Vinares housing project was launched during former president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s administration to address the housing shortage in Maldives.

1,344 apartments were built in ten towers under the project.
