STELCO warns of scheduled power outage in Male’ on Friday

State Electric Company (STELCO) states that power will go out briefly in some areas of Male’ City on Friday.

STELCO said that it would be conducting necessary work to upgrade the Greater Male’ Interconnection Grid between 06:30 am and 07:30 am on Friday.

The company said that power will go out in some areas of Male’ City for approximately 10 minutes during that time.

The areas that will be affected are:

• Henveiru Stadium area
• Nasandhura area, Carnival area
• Gaakoshi flats, Arabiyya flats area
• Gadiburu area, Majeedhee Magu Fini Park area
• Maafannu Madhrasa, Dhunburi Mosque area

STELCO apologized in advance for the inconvenience it may cause customers.
