Gan blackout easing; full supply soon

A fire at the L. Gan Fenaka branch on Wednesday afternoon left the island without electricity, but efforts are underway to restore power before midnight.   The blaze broke out at 14:45 hrs and was extinguished by 15:50 hrs, according to police. While no injuries were reported, the engine room sustained significant damage, preventing immediate resupply of electricity.   Gan Council President Ahmed Zaki
