Applications open for scholarships from Japan

Applications have been opened for fully funded Bachelor’s and Master's degree scholarships under the ‘Japanese Government Scholarships 2023’. 

Higher Education Ministry stated in an announcement on Monday that Maldivian students have the opportunity to apply for courses offered by graduate schools of Japanese universities under the program. 

The scholarships are fully funded by the Japanese government. 

The review of applications, tests, interviews and shortlist of candidates will be conducted by the Japanese embassy. 

Higher Education Ministry has asked that candidates selected for the scholarships check that the university and the course they select is approved by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA).
