Under their initiative to donate essential health kits to all health centers across the country – Ooredoo Maldives has handed over the first essential health kit to GDh. Hoededhoo Health Center.
The telecommunication company said that the initiative is a part of their efforts to promote good health and increase their involvement in the development of the health sector.
Donated health kit includes include essential health equipment such as stethoscope, digital sphygmomanometer, pulse oximeter, otoscope, digital thermometer and nebulizer machine.
Ooredoo plans to donate similar kits to 167 health centers and health posts established across the Maldives.
The initiative to donate essential health kits was announced by Oordoo at a meeting held between Health Minister Ahmed Naseem, the company’s CEO and Managing Director Khalid Al-Hamadi and other senior officials – to discuss ongoing areas of collaboration back in February.
Ooredoo Maldives has extended its support to councils, recreational clubs and sponsored several tournaments across Maldives to promote and encourage communities to take on a healthier lifestyle.
