Parliament sittings to begin at 10:30 hours during Ramadan

Parliament has announced sittings will begin at 10:30 am during upcoming Ramadan.

Announcing that Wednesday’s sitting would be the last before Ramadan, Parliament Speaker, former President Mohamed Nasheed said the first session during Ramadan would be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, and the second would be held after a one-hour break from 01:00 pm to 02:00 pm.

Nasheed said that committee meetings will be scheduled as needed.

According to the calendar, Ramadan will begin on Saturday, April 2.
