Parliament approves Mujthaz for CSC membership

The Parliament on Wednesday approved Mohamed Mujthaz for appointment as a member of the Civil Service Commission (CSC). President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu nominated Mujthaz for the role on April 7. The nomination was reviewed by the Parliament’s Independent Institutions Committee. The Parliament approved the nomination with a unanimous vote of 71 on Wednesday. Mujthaz is a former parliamentary representative for the Hanimaadhoo constituency.
