A dead body, with injuries, has been discovered at a guesthouse in K. Gaafaru.

A reliable source told Sun that the dead body discovered at a guesthouse in Gaafaru was that of a young woman who was visiting the island – further detailing that wounds from a sharp object was observed on her neck.

“Can see injuries from a sharp object on her neck,” the source had said.

The source further detailed that the woman was traveling alone and that her body has now been transported to Gaafaru Health Centre.

A Police Spokesperson confirmed to Sun that the discovery of a dead body inside a guesthouse in Gaafaru had been reported to them. The Spokesperson added that further details will be disclosed later.
