Dead body discovered inside a Bandeyri Koshi apartment

Police officers have cordoned off the area after a dead body was discovered inside an apartment in Bandeyri Koshi, a housing unit in Male’ City for military personnel.

The Police, in a message to the media, said they discovered the dead body of a man while searching an apartment in Bandeyri Koshi based on a tip received to the authority.

Officers are presently at the scene, Police said, adding further information will be disclosed following developments.

The Police did not disclose any details regarding the deceased person. However, they confirmed that the apartment where the body was discovered is not currently in use.
