Dead woman found at Hirimaradhoo shore

A dead body has been discovered at HDh. Hirmaradhoo shore.

Maldives Police Service said that a report was made to them regarding the discovery of a dead person at Hiramadhoo on Thursday afternoon, around 1:30pm.

Police confirmed the identity of the deceased as a 71-year-old woman. Her dead body was discovered near the shore, in the sea.

Police further detailed no external injuries have been observed from the woman’s body, so far into their investigation. However, they stressed that they were investigating the death further.
