WAMCO: Hiyaa tenants will not be billed for waste collection, until informed otherwise

Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced tenants of the Hiyaa units built in Hulhumale’ Phase II will not be billed for household waste collection services until informed otherwise. 

WAMCO announced on Thursday that though the company has revised its previous decision to bill customers from Hiyaa units who register for household waste collection services. 

Customers from Hiyaa units will not be billed for waste collection services until informed otherwise, said the company. 

WAMCO said it made the decision after looking at the rate at which Hulhumale’ Phase II is getting populated, and to improve the convenience of customers in Hiyaa units.
