Young man dies in fall from Hiyaa towers

A young man died on Saturday morning, after falling from the Hiyaa towers in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

The incident was reported to the police at around 08:32 am.

According to the police, the man fell from Hiyaa Tower 8, and was already deceased when taken to the Hulhumale’ Hospital.

He has been identified as a 33-year-old Maldivian male.

The circumstances behind his fall are unclear at this point.

The case is under investigation by the police.
