MTCC awarded harbor projects in Hithaadhoo, Kinolhas

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded harbor construction projects in B. Hithaadhoo and R. Kinolhas worth a combined MVR 62 million. 

The contracts were signed by MTCC’s CEO Adam Azim and Planning Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Hameed on Monday. 

The Hithaadhoo harbor project is valued at MVR 17.7 million.  

The project involves dredging a 14,929.60 cubic meter area, building a seawall, and installing lights. 

MTCC is required to complete the project within 540 days. 

Meanwhile, the Kinolhas harbor project is valued at MVR 45.1 million. 

The project involves dredging a 15,252 cubic meter area, building a seawall, revetment, and installing lights. 

MTCC is required to complete the project within 420 days.
