Avid College to start Master of Research Studies in Jan

Avid College has announced that Master of Research Studies – a new course – in January 2021. 

Avid College’s chairman Abdulla Musthaq Rashad said the course is approved by Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA). 

Master of Research Studies is a one-year course which will be taught over the course of three semesters. 

Musthaq said the course will have eight modules and a dissertation. 

Some of the modules include Quantitative Research Methods, Qualitative Research Methods, Statistics, and Information Technology Research. 

The course will be taught by experts in the field with PhD or Masters certification, said Musthaq. 

He said that the course will be offered at an affordable price. 

Avid College opened applications for its January 2021 intake last October. The college is offering over 75 courses in various fields. 

Avid College is one of the largest private colleges in Maldives, with over 2,500 students.
