MTCC begins bus services to Hulhumale’ Phase II

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun providing bus services to Hulhumale’ Phase II. 

Bus services to Hiyaa flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II will be provided from 05:45-23:45 hours each day, except for a break from 11:45-13:45 hours on Fridays. 

MTCC states its operation staff will be station at the first bus stop in Phase II from 08:00-18:00 hours until October 7 to provide information regarding the new bus route to customers. 

The rate for bus services is MVR 5. 

BUS ROUTES: 

• Hulhumale’-West Park route 

• Hulhumale’-Carnival route 

• Hulhumale’-Velana International Airport (VIA) route 

• Hulhumale’-Neighborhood 1, 2, and 3 

MTCC previously stated that it decided to provide bus services to Hulhumale’ Phase II following discussions between Transport Ministry, Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and MTCC in order to ease transport difficulties facing the public. 

MTCC stated it plans on bringing in more buses in order to improve the quality of its services.
