Decomposed body of young woman found in Male’

A badly decomposed body of a young woman has been found in a building in Male’ City.

Police said the body was discovered in a building in Galolhu district, following a search due to the foul stench coming from the building.

The case was reported to police at 02:33 am this Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified by police as a 27-year-old Maldivian woman.

Police are investigating the case, and have not disclosed any further details.
