Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has completed work on establishing a water network in A. A. Rasdhoo.
MWSC’s Chairman Ahmed Mausoom, Managing Director Hassan Shah, and teams from MWSC, STELCO and Ministry of National Planning, Infrastructure and Housing visited Rasdhoo to commission the water network earlier this Thursday.
MWSC began work on the MVR 30 million water network project in Rasdhoo in mid-2018.
Under the project, MWSC designed a water network, installed a 388.6-meter-long main water pipeline, installed water meters in 297 households, and connected the households to water.
The company also built a RO facility building, and installed two RO plants, two 263-ton water tanks, an ultra-filtration system to filter rainwater, and an additional 703-ton water tank to collect rainwater.
MWSC will also be providing laboratory equipment to test water quality.
