Police announce search for individual in child abuse case

Police have announced that they are searching for an individual related to a child abuse case.

Details of the individual were also disclosed by the authorities. 

The announcement by Police read that they are searching for a man named Hassan Nizaar (59) from Asaraeege, Th. Thimarafushi.

The announcement was made in relation to a case under investigation by the Thimarafushi Police Station after officers could not locate the individual.

He was summoned for the investigation under the regulation for police to operate in cases related to child abuse cases. 

He is to attend the Thimarafushi Police Station at 10:00 on October 3, 2020.
