Students joining UK universities in September asked to register with Higher Education Ministry

Higher Education Ministry has issued an announcement asking for Maldivian students who are commencing their studies in UK universities for the September intake to register with the authority.

The Higher Education Ministry has asked students to register with a portal set up by the authority by 01:00 pm on August 4.

The information is being collected to provide the students’ information to relevant authorities to assist in facilitation of travel to the universities.

The UK hosts a sizable population of Maldivian students.
