4 arrested for vandalizing private property in Maradhoo

Maldives Police Service has arrested four people believed to have entered Maradhoo, an island in Addu City, in the dead of the night on March 30, and proceeded to vandalize private property.

According to the police, four suspects were arrested in connection to the case under court order on Wednesday.

The suspects were arrested in an operation in Hithadhoo, another island in Addu City.

The suspects were identified by the police as a 19-year-old male, two 20-year-old males, and two 22-year-old males. All are Maldivian nationals.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
