The senior magistrate of Dh. Atoll Abdul Razzaq Mohamed has been suspended over forged signatures by the Judicial Service Commission.

The Commission began an investigation into the conduct of the magistrate over suspicions that were raised in the signature of an agreement of a case submitted to the Kudahuvadhoo magistrate court.

Maldives Police Service had sent a letter to the JSC notifying that it was investigating the case.

The JSC then announced that it was suspending the magistrate to open an ethics investigation into the magistrate, in a statement today.
