Kalaafaanu School uniform redesigned after 30 years

Kalaafaanu School has redesigned the uniforms used by its students after more than 30 years. The school, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, showed off the new uniform on the occasion.

Previously, female students of the school had been using the pleated uniform which had been used in the Maldives for a long time. Male students used black shorts or pants with a white shirt.

The newly designed uniform for 2020, has a refreshing look with its green color. Female students will now be using black pleated skirts with green shirts. Male students from the lower grades will be using black shorts and green shirts while male students from the higher grades will be using black pants and green shirts.

The newly designed uniform is completed with a tie designed with stripes. The school also informed that students will be using a black ribbon instead of the green ribbon previously used.
