Mary elected as president, Gais as vice president of Broadcom

Mariyam Waheeda (Mary) has been elected the President of the Broadcasting Commission and Ahmed Gais has been elected as the Vice President of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission.

Gais and Mary were approved to the commission by the Parliament last Tuesday and were officially appointed to the commission today. After the removal of former Vice President Aiminath Zaina and resignation of former President Shaheeb, the positions had been left vacant up until now.

Broadcom announced that Mary and Gais were elected to the positions today.
