DPE seeks 110 SSC and HSSC examiners

Department of Public Examination (DPE) has stated that it is searching for 110 people to mark the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exam papers and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam papers for 2019.

An announcement made by DPE stated that it is searching for 15 markers for each subject of HSSC papers and 40 markers for two subjects from SCC examinations. In total, DPE is searching for 110 examiners to mark the examination papers.

The announcement also stated that examiners will be paid MVR 60 per paper and a continuity allowance of MVR 1000 will be paid for those who have carried out such work for three years in the last five years.

Marking workshops for the two exams will be conducted from October 26-29 and the paper marking will be from October 31 to November 13. The announcement also stated that marking can only be participated after registering in the examiner's index.

Those who have taught and have the necessary experience for secondary and higher secondary schools can apply to DPE for marking with their preferred subjects noted until September 18.
