The Department of Public Examination (DPE) decided to re-print the Dhivehi Paper 1 of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
Speaking to Sun on Saturday, Deputy Minister of the Education Ministry Mohamed Ihsan said that the decision to re-print the paper was made due to a printing issue faced during the initial print.
“The Islam paper will not be affected. But since we believe it might impact the Dhivehi paper 1, we decided to go for a reprint.”
However, Ihsan stated that this would not change the date for Dhivehi paper 1.
He said that it would be held as per schedule on June 5, and the final preparations for this were ongoing.
