Minivan crashes into road divider in a Hulhumale’ highway accident

A minivan headed to Hulhumale’ on the highway lost control and crashed into the road divider in an accident this Thursday morning.

Maldives Police Service says the accident was reported to the agency at 10:11 am.

No one suffered any bodily harm in the accident but a flyaway piece of the road divider hit a taxi headed the opposite direction to Male’ City resulting in minor damages.

Maldives Police Service reports the crash is under investigation by the agency.

The latest accident has destroyed the block of the road divider at the very end towards Hulhumale’.

There are currently large gaps on the road divider from destruction caused in two other previous accidents on the highway; the first one was on January 16 and involved a pickup truck, and the second one was on March 18 and involved a taxi.
