New domestic airline Manta Air has begun its operations this Sunday.
Manta Air, which received its license last week, currently operates scheduled flights between Velana International Airport and Dhaalu Airport in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo.
The new airline currently operates four daily flights based on a fixed schedule published on its website.
Its fleet is made up of two ATR 72-600 64-seat aircrafts.
CEO of Manta Air, Mohamed Khaleel reports its operations to Dh. Atoll is just the beginning.
“We are increasing our fleet and adding new destinations and routes to our network. Manta’s focus is customer service. We will make sure air travel is an enjoyable and easy experience,” said Khaleel.
Manta Air has offers multiple fare categories which include low-cost fares.
The airline reports its low-cost fare promotion to celebrate its launch will continue until May 31.

The interior of Manta Air flights incorporates both modern designs and comfort and convenience, with plenty of legroom. Seats are distributed into two classes; Sapphire and Comfort.
