Shafaz appointed as MD of Allied

The Board of STO has appointed Mohamed Shafaaz as the Managing Director of the largest insurance company, Allied Insurance. 

While appointed to the position of the STO subdidiary, Shafaz has worked for Allied for over 24 years in prominent positions such as Executive Director and Deputy Managing Director. 

The appointment has come after former Managing Director of Allied Insurance, Ahmed Ameel resigned from the position. Ameel resigned on 7 December 2018 after 24 years with the company.
