STO launches special promo for wholesale businesses offering credit up to MVR 150,000

State Trading Organization (STO) General Trading has launched three special promotions on Wednesday.

According to STO, the three promotions launched on Wednesday are targeted towards restaurant and café, wholesale customers and apartment movers.

Promotion for restaurants and cafés

The promotion period is three months.

Owners of restaurants and cafés can register for the promotion by filling the required form.

Special prices have been set for restaurants and cafés under the promotion.

The top ten businesses with the highest number of transactions over the three-month period will receive rewards. The first will receive MVR 150,000 in credit, the second will receive MVR 100,000 in credit, the third will receive MVR 75,000 in credit. Meanwhile, the remaining seven businesses will each receive an MVR 50,000 in credit.

The promotion will proceed at STO Wholesale Centre.

Promotion for wholesale customers

The promotion includes credit facilities and the opportunity to become agents under STO General Trading.

The promotion period is also three months.

Three businesses borrowing goods on credit and engaging as agents during these three months stands to win prizes: MVR 100,000 in credit for first, MVR 75,000 in credit for second and MVR 50,000 in credit.

The promotion will also proceed at STO Wholesale Centre.

Promotion for apartment movers

The promotion is specific for individuals moving into apartments being developed in Male’ and Hulhumale’ and will be applicable to home appliances sold by STO General Trading.

In this regard, there will be special discounts on home appliances: a 12 percent discount for purchases between MVR 15,000 and MVR 25,000, a 15 percent discount for purchases between MVR 25,000 and MVR 35,000, an 18 percent discount for purchases higher than MVR 35,000.

There will also be a 2.5 percent discount on Hitachi air conditioners.

Individuals purchasing items under the promotion are required to present their letter of receipt of the apartment.

The promotion will proceed till the end of 2025 at STO People’s Choice.
