Registration open for Maldives’ first-ever inter-college e-sports championship

Ooredoo Nation has opened registration for the Inter-College E-Sports Championship 2025 – the first national-level collegiate esports tournament of its kind in the Maldives.

Set to kick off on May 29, this groundbreaking competition with a prize pool of MVR 30,000 invites college teams from across the country to battle it out in three of the most exciting esports titles: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, and EAFC 25.

The championship features a prize pool of MVR 10,000 for each game, offering both recognition and rewards for rising student gamers.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

  • Tournament Start: May 29 (online)
  • Team Composition: Minimum four college students
  • Registration: ore.do/inter-college-mlbb

PUBG Mobile

  • Tournament start: May 29 (online)
  • Team composition: Minimum three college students
  • Registration: ore.do/inter-college-pubgm

EAFC 25

  • Tournament start: May 30 (physical event)
  • Team Composition: Exclusively college students
  • Registration: ore.do/inter-college-eafc

Registration Requirements:

  • Registration Deadline: 11:59 pm on May 25
  • Fee: MVR 100 per game
  • Authorization letter from college confirming representation
  • High-quality college logo
  • Teams must meet the minimum student representation requirement per game

This landmark tournament is part of Ooredoo Nation’s vision to establish a dynamic esports ecosystem in the Maldives, offering new avenues for student expression, competition, and collaboration.

The initiative reinforces Ooredoo Maldives’ continued commitment to empowering youth, promoting digital engagement, and building stronger communities through the fast-growing world of esports.

The tournament will be live streamed on Ooredoo Nation Youtube channel and details and team standings will be published on Ooredoo Nation social media channels.
