Fire burns down car parked in Hithadhoo home

A car parked inside a house in Hithadhoo, Addu City has burned down in a fire.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) says the fire was reported to the authority at 2 am this Wednesday. MNDF says the fire was put out by the authority within a short period of time.

MNDF said the fire incident took place at the house, Dhiraamuli; and that no one was harmed in the incident.

A motorcycle parked next to the car was also damaged in the fire.

The case is under investigation.
