21 businesses gained recognition for their accomplishments on Friday night, at the inaugural edition of the Maldives MSME Awards, a national platform that celebrates the achievements of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Co-organized by the Economic Ministry and the Business Center Corporation (BCC), the award recognizes the dedication, creativity and resilience that define Maldivian entrepreneurship.
The Maldives MSME Awards featured two major divisions: Judges’ Awards and Popular Awards, blending expert evaluation with the collective voice of the people.
21 businesses took home awards in 22 categories.
The top awards went to Nody’s Coffee, Loopcraft, and Oevaali Art Shop.
- Micro MSME of the Year: Nody’s Coffee
- Small MSME of the Year: Loopcraft
- Medium MSME of the Year: Oevaali Art Shop
Judge’s Awards:
- Start-up of the Year: Synetecs
- Green MSME of the Year: Fahigovaan
- Tech MSME of the Year: PiNetworks
- Outstanding Contribution of the Year: The Gift Basket Maldives
- Creative MSME of the Year: Encrea
- Next-gen MSME of the Year: Javaabu
- Youth-led MSME of the Year: For the Soul by Himoo
- Women-led MSME of the Year: Myanasih
11 businesses also won the Popularity Award.
