This is the second walk-in interview held by Immigration this year. The previous session, held on May 25, attracted 876 applicants for 50 positions. Following that round, 200 trainee officers were recruited, with 150 more still to be hired, according to an Immigration official.

Walk-in interviews, where candidates attend without prior appointment, are commonly used by large employers in the Maldives to streamline recruitment.
