Suspect held 10 days after assaulting woman

A man has been arrested and remanded in custody for 10 days after allegedly assaulting a woman in Halaveli Goalhi, Galolhu, Male'. Police said the incident was reported around 21:00 hrs on Tuesday as a case involving disorderly conduct and a physical altercation. A video circulating on social media shows two men and a woman involved in an argument inside an alley.
