Mahloof secures landslide victory in MDP elections

Sports Minister Ahmed Mahloof has secured a landslide victory in the MDP national council elections.  Mahloof had run for President of North Central Province against Moosa Naeem and Ali Shaheen Hussain.  The North Central Province includes K. Atoll, V. Atoll, AA. Atoll and ADh. Atoll.  Preliminary results show Mahloof leading the polls by a landslide, taking over 90 percent of the ballot boxes which have been counted so
