Government revises rules for permanent quotas

The Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology has announced changes to the procedure for issuing permanent quotas to employers through the Xpat System, under the Employment of Foreigners in Maldives Regulations. In a statement issued Wednesday, the ministry said that from Thursday onward, employers applying for permanent quota work‑site registration must submit a notarized Work Site Declaration Form and an affidavit.
