Tourist arrivals from China exceed 300,000

Tourist arrivals to the Maldives from China, so far this year, has exceeded 300,000. According to statistics released by the Tourism Ministry on Wednesday, the Maldives recorded a total of 1,897,840 tourist arrivals as of November 11th. Of these, 300,352 arrivals were from China, making it the top tourist market for Maldivian tourism in 2025. The second-highest tourist market to the Maldives
