President Muizzu embarks on four-day tour of Sh. Atoll

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Monday morning departed on a four-day tour of Sh. Atoll.

According to the President’s Office, he will travel to 14 inhabited islands of the Sh. Atoll; Kaditheemu, Noomaraa, Goidhoo, Feevah, Bileiyfahi, Foakaidhoo, Milandhoo, Narudhoo, Maroshi, Lhaimagu, Funadhoo, Komandoo, and Maalhendhoo.

His first stop was in Noomaraa.

During the tour, President Muizzu will meet with members of the local council and women’s development committees to key development needs and priorities. He will also engage directly with residents to listen to their concerns and gain insight into their well-being.

According to the President’s Office, the tour is part of his initiative to tour all Maldivian atolls and engage directly with councils at the island, atoll, and city levels.

He is accompanied on the trip by several cabinet ministers and senior officials from key government institutions.
