The Maldives Airports Company (MACL) has commenced the payment of its annual MVR 25,000 bonus to employees who were employed for the entirety of the previous year.

MACL maintains a strong policy of distributing annual bonuses to its workforce. For the past four years, the company has consistently provided a MVR 25,000 bonus to all eligible employees on a pro-rata basis.

In line with company policy, employees who worked a minimum of six months last year will receive a bonus amount calculated pro-rata.

However, employees who were dismissed last year under the company’s disciplinary policy are not eligible for this bonus.

MACL stands as one of the largest revenue-generating companies within the government and public sector. Notably, it is also the sole state-owned company that disburses salaries in US dollars.
