Balance Studio, a new wellness center dedicated to women's health through yoga and Pilates, officially opened its doors in Male city on Monday.
Located on the fourth floor of the MF Building, the studio's inauguration was graced by Dr. Maryam Mariya, Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare.
Operating under Balance Project Pvt Ltd, the studio is poised to offer a variety of Pilates and yoga classes, catering to the growing popularity of these disciplines among women. The classes are designed for women of all ages and will be led by instructors boasting an impressive 30 years of experience.
The wellness center, a venture founded by friends Leenaz Hussain and Aishath Maisha Hussain, is set to commence classes next month. Balance Studio has been in preparation since last December, with finishing touches expertly handled by Proxy, the studio informed.
During the opening ceremony, Minister Mariya lauded Pilates as a highly beneficial and popular exercise. She also shared her personal endorsement, noting her own practice of Pilates and its positive impact on women across all age groups.
Furthermore, the Minister expressed gratitude for the studio's initiative in providing such valuable exercise opportunities for women.
