‘Trouble’ has taken over the Maldives – be it television or the roads, there seems to be no escaping.

But, what ‘Trouble’ is this? What is truly happening?

The ‘Troublemakers’ that are part of Ooredoo Maldives’ trouble campaign have arrived in the Maldives.

A video posted by Ooredoo opens with two characters – one yellow and the other green – at the company’s headquarters in Hulhumale’. As they interact with Ooredoo staff, they are also seen causing ‘trouble’, from closing laptops to messing with printers. The two characters are then seen in Hulhumale’ Market wreaking more havoc from taking fruits and vegetables on showcase for sale. They are also seen disturbing market-goers, grabbing their water bottles and chairs.

The characters are next seen near Raalhugandu area in Male’. They are seen trying to get on a motorbike of another individual. At the end of the video, both characters are seemingly “arrested” by the Police.

Commenting regarding the campaign, Ooredoo’s Assistant PR Manager Shiuna Hameed said the ‘Troublemakers’ represent delays and other difficulties faced when customers use phone and data services.

Shiuna said the purpose of the campaign to showcase that opting for Ooredoo’s services will resolve these issues.

“The campaign will showcase them [troublemakers] disturbing in various scenarios. It will depict Ooredoo as the savior,” she detailed.

According to Shiuna, the campaign will continue throughout this year.
