Sun Siyam Resorts has revamped its services, designed to offer tourists an unparalleled experience of Maldivian culture and hospitality.

The launch took place at a special ceremony held at Sun Siyam Olhuveli on Monday evening. The event was graced by Sun Siyam Group Chairman and Managing Director Ahmed Siyam Mohamed himself, alongside Sun Siyam Resorts officials and senior representatives from various tourism-related agencies.

Under the new branding, paramount focus is on delivering authentic local experiences to visitors at Sun Siyam Resorts. The initiative introduces 12 distinct experiences for tourists, with a few highlights including:

  1. Welcome to the Country: Moving beyond the usual form-filling upon arrival, Sun Siyam Resorts now welcomes guests with the indigenous, blood-thrumming music of Boduberu, serving a cold drink as a symbol of native hospitality.

  2. Cinema by the Moonlight: This unique offering allows tourists to enjoy their favorite movies from a boat at sea, under the stars.

  3. Secret Sun Downer: Each day, towards sunset, comfortable seating, bean bags, and a relaxed atmosphere will be arranged at a new spot within the resort, enhancing the sunset viewing experience.

  4. Plant-based Bliss: A remarkable 30 percent of the menu across all Sun Siyam Resorts is now dedicated to meals prepared with fresh greens and herbs, ensuring a dining option for every guest.

  5. Maldivian Root: This special day is entirely devoted to Maldivian experiences and storytelling. Tourists can indulge in local breakfast, participate in traditional activities and crafts, and truly "live the life of a Maldivian for a day."

The longest pool in the country, a magnificent 210-meter stretch at Olhuveli, was also inaugurated on Monday evening.

Furthermore, significant enhancements are planned for the beach pavilions, with 40 grand beach suites being added to the luxurious accommodations at Olhuveli. It was also announced that Sun Siyam Irufushi is currently undergoing comprehensive renovations to all of its water villas.

Speaking at the event, Siyam emphasized the company's commitment to providing the highest level of service to all guests. He urged attendees to treat every tourist visiting the resorts with utmost care and affection.
