Ooredoo Maldives has introduced an exciting new twist to this year’s Mas Race with the launch of the Mas Race digital game on the Ooredoo App, bringing the thrill of the competition to fishing fans nationwide.
The game, introduced alongside this year’s Mas Race events, will remain live and playable until 11:59 pm on Wednesday, allowing players to join the action anytime, anywhere.
The digital version of Mas Race features real teams participating in Mas Race 2025.
The game is simple yet highly addictive; choose your favorite team, tap to catch fish, and rack up points to climb the leaderboard. Each fish caught earns one point, and players can keep accumulating points throughout the competition period.
The stakes are high, with premium fishing gear from Hai Fishing Tackles, the Maldives’ leading fishing tackle shop, up for grabs:
In a statement on Sunday, Ooredoo said they are thrilled to bring Mas Race to a wider audience through their app, making it possible for everyone to be part of the excitement, even off the waters.
“This is yet another step towards building digital experiences that celebrate our culture, traditions, and love for fishing,” reads the statement.
As the go-to fishing tackle provider in the Maldives, Hai Fishing Tackles offers premium gear from globally renowned brands like Daiwa, Penn, Abu Garcia, Yo-Zuri, Zenaq, Jigging Master, Okuma, and Pioneer. Their house brand Rankaru has quickly become a trusted favorite among local anglers, and the upcoming Rankaru e-catalog promises to showcase a comprehensive product range for all fishing enthusiasts.
