Baa Atoll Immigration Office inaugurated at Eydhafushi on Tuesday in line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to expand passport services to all Maldivian atolls.
The office was inaugurated by President Muizzu as part of his ongoing tour of 13 residential islands in Baa Atoll. The first passport issued by the office was handed over by Home Minister Ali Ihusan.
The establishment of the Immigration office in Baa Atoll would eliminate the need for residents of the atoll to travel to Male’ to get their passports done.
Immigration states passport service will be expanded to all Maldivian atolls as soon as possible.
