Ooredoo and HDC wrap up Children’s Day celebrations in Hulhumale’

Ooredoo Maldives joined hands with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Ministry of Family and Social Development to celebrate Children’s Day as part of the “My Hulhumale’ Week” festivities — marking the 21st anniversary since the first residents moved to Hulhumale’.

Kicking off a week of vibrant community events, the Children’s Day Family Festival brought families together for a day filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful engagement across two bustling venues: Hiya Park and Ruhgandu 3.

The celebration featured a wide array of fun and interactive experiences for children and their families, including:

• A Foam Party at Ruhgandu 3, where kids splashed, danced, and played in a safe, supervised environment.
• Numerous games and hands-on activities at both Hiya Park and Ruhgandu 3, engaging children in creativity, movement, and learning.

• Stalls from state-owned enterprises, private companies, and community organizations, offering fun challenges, giveaways, and learning experiences.
• A special Movie Night under the stars, featuring “The Wild Robot,” hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Development at Hiya Park.

Ooredoo Maldives actively participated in the festivities connecting with the community and sharing the joy of the occasion with the younger generation.
