Four arrested for intimidating landlord, property damage

Maldives Police Service on Sunday have arrested four individuals in relation to intimidating the landlord of, and causing property damage at a Galolhu district house in Male’ City.

Police in a message to local media confirmed a group individuals forced themselves inside a Galolhu house and threatened its owner. The incident was reported on Saturday evening.

Law enforcement arrested the four suspects from the scene of the crime around 00:45hrs on Sunday early hours. Police arrested;

• Mohamed Aflah, 23 (Reethi Hiya, AA. Maalhos)
• Ibrahim Ahnaf, 21 (Elas, N. Velidhoo)
• Mohamed Azan, 23 (Haveyli, N. Manadhoo)
• Ali Navaf, 21 (Fazaa, Th. Guraidhoo)

All four received 15 days of remand when they were produced at the Criminal Court later on Sunday.

Police added the authority was investigation the case further.
