Riyaz said that they have received documents containing information regarding the lockdown of the Supreme Court from the police and the court itself. He said that information regarding the declaration was shared by the President’s Office.
The President’s Office has shared the names of those who had worked on putting together declaration, including the names of President’s Office employees who assisted the work administratively.
Riyaz said that a committee meeting will be held to begin investigation in light of the information they have received.
During a meeting held last month, the committee had decided to collect information regarding the illegal activities carried out by former President Nasheed, and later summon the parties involved to committee.
