Local authorities have apprehended two foreign nationals accused of involvement in a prostitution racket.
In a post on X on Tuesday, Immigration said that the two were apprehended in a joint operation conducted in collaboration with the police to identify expatriates involved in large-scale prostitution rackets in the Maldives.

According to Immigration, the investigation uncovered that Kumarasamy worked as a prostitute while Waji worked as an agent.
The agency has deported Kumarasamy and is in the process of deporting Waji.
